Environmentally safe products are a concern for everyone. Lessening our dependency on fossil fuels is critical to our economic and environmental future. People in agriculture are responding to changing needs by deriving environment-friendly products from agricultural crops - renewable resources. Using traditional and non-traditional crops like straw and kenaf, and materials that would otherwise fall into the category of "waste", American agriculture is actively working to make the world cleaner and safer for its people.
