Maryland Grain Producers Association

The Maryland Grain Producers Association is a member organization of grain producers in the state.  It conducts legislative activities, awards scholarships, and conducts regular meetings to address grain issues.  Newsletters keep members informed of activities.  The Maryland Commodity Classic is the Association's annual meeting, held the fourth Thursday of July. 

Maryland Grain Producers Utilization Board

The Maryland Grain Producers Utilization Board was established in 1991.  Its mission is to increase the profitability of Maryland grain production and to improve public understanding of agriculture using checkoff investments to support promotion, education, and research resulting in greater utilization of grain.  Projects funded are highlighted in the Checkoff Program section.

Administration

Both the Association and the Utilization Board share administrative offices and personnel.
