Building systems
Homes and other buildings constructed with fiber structural insulated panels are strong and durable, quiet, fire-resistant and beneficial to the environment. The center core of the panel is made from highly compressed, 100% natural, wheat straw.  Due to its high load-bearing capabilities, commercial and residential buildings require up to 90% less framing lumber. This reduces construction costs by up to 2 - 4% and allows for more efficient on site construction. The panels are superb insulators, exceeding building code requirements for R-value. Wall panels are rated at R28.4 and roof assemblies at R39.6.  Compressed agricultural fiberboard has been used in home construction for over 40 years. Also, no termite infestation has been reported in the 40-year history of the building technology, further demonstrating the structural integrity and longevity of this building system.

Cabinetry
Wheat and soy panels represent the next generation of engineered panel products making use of the abundant supply of agricultural fiber. These panels will meet or exceed traditional wood industrial particleboard standards, and compare favorably to wood products in weight - 5-15% lighter, smoother surface characteristics, better moisture resistance and Formaldehyde-free.

Ceilings
Using an inner core of straw, ceiling panels are compressed and bonded under extreme heat and covered with paper.  It is rigid and strong, absorbs sound, saves space, and can be reused and composted instead of being disposed of in a landfill.

Concrete release agent
Made from canola oil, an environment-safe-based patented concrete release agent is designed as a direct replacement for petroleum-based concrete release agents proven hazardous to the environment. The agent is completely biodegradable; not water based; non-staining; easy to apply with spray or mop; VOC compliant; usable on steel, wood, plastic, aluminum, silicone rubber, Styrofoam and PVC; non-toxic and odorless.

Furniture
Biocomposites are decorative interior materials that respects the environment by using recycled paper products, a soy-based resin system, and color additives. The material has a unique and elegant appearance combined with the warmth and feel of an exotic hardwood. The material is one and one-half times harder than oak, but can be cut, milled, routed, drilled, fastened and finished similar to wood, which makes it ideal for furniture.

Paint and varnish
Tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol is a resin developed from processing corncobs.  These resins are useful in the paint and varnish.

Particle board
Developed due to the concern over the availability of long-term supplies of wood fiber, particle board is produced from wheat straw and a non-toxic, emission-free binding agent. Stronger and more water resistant than conventional particle board, the wheat board is considered environmentally friendly because it contains no urea formaldehyde, a toxic substance traditionally used in wood-based products. It can be used for the manufacture of furniture, kitchen components, store fixtures and other commercial and residential building applications.
